From the Marche region, Ciu Ciu Lacrima DOP 2021 is a beautifully aromatic red made from the rare Lacrima grape. Bright ruby-to-violet in colour, it is intensely perfumed with woodland berries, violets and floral aromas.
On the palate it shows a smooth, round texture with mid-body weight, moderate tannins, fresh acidity and a flavour core of wild cherry, blackberry and subtle spice.
The finish is lingering, softly savoury with florals fading into fruit and gentle earth notes — ideal for consumers who want a distinctive, rich and round Italian red with character rather than brute power.
